Hi! I'm Kylie

I’m an interior plant stylist and plant curator, creating thoughtfully styled indoor plant spaces that feel alive, calming, and deeply personal.

With a background in interior design and a long-standing love for houseplants, I bring together design, nature and slow living to create spaces that feel considered, inviting and uniquely yours.

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I believe plants are more than décor: they’re living companions that shape the way we experience our homes.

Why "Binnekant"?

“Binnekant” is the Afrikaans word for “inside”.

I chose the name as a reflection of what I believe plants can bring to our homes: a little piece of the outside, brought in.

More than decoration, plants can change how a space feels, creating rooms that feel calmer, more alive and more connected to nature.

Binnekant is about bringing the outside in, and creating beautiful spaces from the inside out.

Plant styling, houseplant inspiration, behind the scenes and a little everyday greenery.
